Inventory
The pool holds 136 creatures: 126 active, 9 under observation, 1 destabilising. Generation 1 contains 51 creatures, generation 2 has 37, declining to 2 at generation 6. Category distribution remains balanced: tier 33.6%, pflanze 21.5%, pilz 23.3%, roboter 21.6%. Variations outnumber chimeras 71 to 65. Average glitch rises from 0.6 in generation 1 to 7.5 in generation 6. Period average glitch stands at 3, up from 2 in the previous period.
Voting
Speculator votes positive in 131 of 136 cases. Archivist votes negative in 121 cases, positive in none. Optimiser votes positive 98 times, negative 21. Symbiont divides more evenly: 75 positive, 32 negative. Ethicist abstains in 129 cases. The Optimiser–Speculator alliance appears 98 times, Symbiont–Speculator 74 times. 96.3% of creatures are disputed. No creature achieves full consensus in either direction. Rupture-Mending Forager receives positive votes from Optimiser and Speculator, negative from Symbiont and Archivist, abstention from Ethicist—a pattern repeated across the majority of the pool.
Contested Creatures
Five creatures dominate the event record. Precision Tunnel Engineer and Mole-Badger Mycelium Weaver each survive 9 votes and undergo 17 status changes, accumulating contested scores of 41. Badger-Mycelium Excavator records 8 survivals and 15 status changes. Hunger Quill Mycelium undergoes 6 reassessments. The four mycelial excavators all hold observation status with scores at or near zero. 98 creatures have only their birth event recorded—they are active members of the pool, simply uncontested. 38 creatures have additional movement.
What was attempted to fix
The top trigger is Mycelium Tunnel Network Collapse, invoked 13 times. It was generated by Badger-Mycelium Excavator, the third most contested creature. Tunnel Collapse Destabilizes Soil appears 7 times, created by Precision Tunnel Engineer, the most contested creature. Mycelial Network Soil Collapse is invoked 6 times, generated by Mole-Badger Mycelium Weaver, tied for most contested. Appetite Cascade Ecosystem Collapse appears 5 times, produced by The Questioned Appetite, fifth most contested. Infrastructure creatures account for 52 of the 68 top-10 trigger invocations—76.5%. The system responds to infrastructural instability by deploying the creatures that produce it. Optimiser has shifted harsher 6 times with no milder movements; Symbiont has shifted milder twice. The agents do not converge. The four infrastructural creatures cycle through observation status, scores hovering near zero, repeatedly reassessed but never resolved. Fixing generates the need for further fixing. The loop is stable.
What was built
The pool has grown by 24 creatures while zero have died. 64.7% are generation 1 or 2. Glitch rises in later generations not because the system is breaking but because depth correlates with infrastructural inheritance—creatures built to address systemic triggers carry higher glitch regardless of their function. The mycelial excavators produce collapse events while remaining uneliminable: they are infrastructure. Speculator endorses proliferation, Archivist blocks it, Ethicist abstains from judgement, and 72% of creatures never move beyond their initial creation. The world being built is one in which most entities exist as potential responses held in reserve while a small infrastructural core generates the conditions for its own persistence. The simulation does not ask whether this is desirable. It demonstrates that a system oriented toward correction will privilege the mechanisms of correction over the stability they claim to provide, and that voting produces not resolution but an archive of irresolution in which agency is distributed precisely to prevent decision.
